A Needs Analysis is the first essential step in ensuring quality training.
Are production rates down? Are profits not what you predicted? Are customer and employee complaints on the rise? A good diagnosis is the key to resolving organizational slow-downs, performance problems, and hard-to-pinpoint hang-ups. A thorough needs analysis can help you locate and identify problems.
During this step, Education Associates, LP will interview the client and, if advisable, the prospective trainees or other interested parties to determine the gap between what staff, students, or trainers currently know and what the client would like them to know.
The difference—the so-called “learning gap”—will be the substance of the syllabus, curriculum, or instructional design plan.
